This picture:

Inspired the following thoughts on a Grim Dark version of inspector Gadget.

The year is some generic future year, Goerge Claw, second in line for the mob family of the claws, gets in a horrible accident. Cybernetics has progressed enough to easily fix him up but during the placement of said cybernetics (wich include half his face and his hand) he woke up, the process causing him a tremendious amount of pain before he finally passed out. Its assumed the doctor responsible (or at least the one blamed) was "delt with".

Claw's father is informed his son is refusing any facial reconstruction, convinced the cybernetic half of his face is what he is now and that hes a monster. His father goes to console him and ends up commanding him to get his cybernetic parts covered up, wich leads to the Claw's hand grabbing his throat and choking his father to death.

Rumor goes around that the Claw family is bitterly divided amongst those now following the Claw's mother and those following the Claw. A power struggle is unavoidable as the Claw's ruthless and sadistic tactics soon end up dragging other mob families into it. It seems like its him against the entire criminal underworld...and hes winning.

The police are either too scared to help or already in the pocket books of one mob family or another. Most avoid the fighting and the city is soon in chaos, all except one. Fred Gadget witnessed a few of Claw's men attacking a young girl, knowing Claw's men were every bit as sadistic and immoral as their leader he stepped in and without the use of his gun managed to take down both men with only a minor arm injury. The girl's name was Penny, and she thanked him and helped him get his arm patched up.

A few weeks later Fred was ambushed by Claw's men. Claw went on a rant about how he would not tolerate the god of crime being made a fool of by such a simple man. He took Fred away and tortured him for days, finally he made Fred take on cybernetic grafts of the highest quality while awake and in the most severe pain before tossing him into the open with nothing to cover his new hideous cybernetic parts.

Fred became a homeless man, the police wanted nothing to do with someone on Claw's black list and neither did anyone else. One day Penny found him alone in a ally and urged her mother to take the man who saved her life in for at least a warm meal. Penny's mother obliged.

Fred got back on his feet a bit with Penny's help, Oh and Penny owned a dog named Brain (I had to sneak him in dammit). Penny's parents never warmed up to him though. They were convinced having someone who the Claw was out to get live with them was a death sentance...and sure enough after a few months Penny came home from school to find both her parents dead against the door, the symbol of the claw placed on both their bodies.

Fred had had enough. He grabbed Penny, took Brain and put on some of Penny's dad's old clothing, wich turned out to be perfect for covering up his cybernetics. He nicknamed himself Inspector Gadget, and decided he was going to kill the Claw, he didn't even care about stopping his rampage or saving people anymore. As long as that bastard lived this world would continue to suffer and he had to kill him...no matter the cost.

...Thought all that up while eating breakfast and taking a shower. I dunno weither to be proud or ashamed.

Last night I looked in a nice big mirror and realized...I'm pear shaped. I need to lose weight. One part of my mind is saying excersize. Go out for small walks or start trying to do push ups where no one can see you (Cause people knowing I'm doing them seems embarrasing), another part is shouting "PILLS! They make like...thousands of pills for this. One of thems gotta work".

I really should do something though.

So from my understanding this is happening. My Aunt, thinking I don't want a job cause I'm worried about my grandpa, suggested a 24 hour care service for him...and all we have to do is give him this house.

Wich would leave me, and my family, homeless.

...yeah. Were not too keen on the idea. Were afraid she'll get him to sign something so were keeping watch on him when shes about now...and my dad is telling me shes extremely manipulative and has been all this time and hes only now starting to see it. Sadly I think he might be right. She has a habbit of getting other people upset, then waiting for the unavoidable shitstorm, then apologizing to everyone and playing the good person.

*sighs* Life just got alot less friendly...

Club Light and Dark

I had a dream last night. A dream that had a sequel everytime I fell back asleep. I'm mostly writing it here so I don't forget it.

It was a place called club light and club dark. The people there had no idea why they were there. Most didn't question it. They never aged, or had children, or made much any of life's progress. Still, they ones in club light were happy at least.

Both places were controled by a near omnipotent being simply called Sarah. Though she was kind and mostly stayed out of people's ways in club light in club dark she was both sadistic and cruel.

Enter the main character of this strange place. No name was said in my dream. Hes a smart, charismatic and rather kind person, who still manages to be a trouble maker once in awhile. He spends most of his time in club light but has been known to make very short trips to the dark, and at times when he caused a bit of trouble sent there for punishment (He once spent a week as a horse's ass. Yes its weird blame my dream, and when he came back everything tasted like horse shit for a couple of weeks). So far in the dream hes managed to start a rock band with a air headed guy singing, a nerdy guy on the drums, some misc woman on the bass, and a guy sent from club dark by Sarah using a keyboard who could stay as long as the band lasted. He eventually let himself get replaced by someone else, another girl who liked the attention it brought. He has a odd relationship with Sarah and often talked to her privatly. He knows her better then anyone else and most others know this about him.

The last thing I dreamed before I had to get up (That I remember) five dragons showed up from the mysterious outside world, two young women and three old women, they came here for study and the main character took a immediate intrest in them. Mostly cause the young women were cute.

Anyways yeah, I realize the main char is sueish and if I make a story out of this I'll have to buff it up a bit. Maby I can even have more dreams about the place. It'd be nice

Things I hate:

Getting to the last disc in a anime or near the end of a game I really like.

See the closer to the end I am the closer to it being over I am...and once its over I can only relive what I've done and seen. I can never experience it anything new from it (Unless its a very wide open game, but sadly those tend not to be ones I enjoy). On that note I just finished Escaflowne (Yes, I realize I'm years behind everyone else in anime) and now its over. I realize theres a movie, but all the same the anime is over.
